Finally making some progress on the golf. Really need to stop spending all my dollars on bicycles.
Flat caps for the Borbet's and Euro number plates, clear turns are in the mail and i'm still getting quotes for that bumper respray. Should be looking good again for VITS in April.

I know that feel man, I keep thinking of all the things I could have done to my car with the money I paid for my bike last month, but oh well! MTBing = too much fun to resist.

BTW love the borbets and 404s, can't wait until I can get my hands on some of those racks.

Ive got a front bumper which is looking to get sprayed somtime soon, I got quoted 300. So if you get somrhing cheaper let me know

Late post-VITS picture time!

Bumper paint was flaking off all over the place after getting reversed into in December, so it was time to end months of neglect with some paint. Orange turns are orange, so bought some dirty ebay clears. Looks so much better up front with the euro plates too.









Drove up Saturday morning and got a cool rolling shot from Downfall.



Camped overnight; was cold, do not recommend.







Got an unreasonably large amount of love for my car over the weekend and managed to snag second best mk3 which was grouse.

Well it's about time for an update, post GAD seems like a good time.

Since last update the car has had new rotors and pads, new oil pressure sensor (was leaking through it of all places), new zorst (2 1/4" system with hotdog and fully sick muffler) after a run it with a very tall speed hump, and BFI 0.5 engine mounts with G60 trans mount. And more recently a fresh set of wheels for GAD to mix things up.

Here's how it was sitting in April at VITS



Fetched some VW Canyon wheels off gumtree that came on 1st gen Touaregs. 17 x 7.5 with 195/40's, final specs with adapters is et 30 for and 20 rear.



Fitted them thursday afternoon with some more lows after picking one of the wheels up from a respray with rash repair. Drove up to canberra friday morning with the gang for a weekend of bikes, beers, cameras, cars, and general shenanigans. Cheers to the boys for putting it all together. Anyways, enjoy some photos!
