Yes, sorry, for those that don't know wtf these guys are on about, I bought a twinturbo Audi allroad, haha, so I'm playing with that to get it ready for halfway hangs since the cabby won't make it. I'm waiting on my ecu to arrive and the headwork to be finished.... The ecu has taken more time to arrive than I would've liked and my engine builder is having issues sourcing parts, haha. Poor cabby will be neglected till these components are finalised ...

Sucks, so keen to have it done already :/

Sorry Matt, the audi is sucking me dry at the moment with prep for the coming road trip Soon i'll have something.... Couldn't be bothered keeping secrets anymore, Woody popped in whilst he was up here and enlightened him with the build, so as soon as I can i'll start spamming and injecting cash into it till it's done

some old pics from the bay..... a lot has changed since then because like i've said before, I came into this "build" with the intention of it being a quick easy swap with minimal play; So being the **** I am, i've redone and redone and redone things which has taken up most of my time with this...















That last shot isn't cleared and I have no shots of it all cleared as yet. Also i'm redoing the firewall with rerouted brake lines and will delete and smooth all the unused holes...

i'm thinking of going to mechanical brakes so I can delete the booster? i've already deleted the power steer and aircon so I might as well make it completely undrivable.... haha. i'm keeping the heater for roadworthy purposes, though that might change too....


Also have a set of Remotecs that I want to run though they're 16's... but i'll refurb them and run them for a bit till I build the new 15's...




I got the fresh head back from my engine gury just yesterday with the new cams and springs installed; starting to think I should've gone more aggressive with them but we'll see how these drive... i've also got the MS3X ecu waiting here, so all this will go in once I finish off the firewall...

I've got a few other things going on but that'll do for now, hopefully i'll start on this again real soon and i'll be able to update this.....I haven't touch the cabby in some time due to that allroad I bought but that thing will be replaced soon and I can make it rain on the cabby again....

cheers man, and nah, i'm keeping it super simple and minimal.... going the ITB route; I just love the sound and look of shaved bays with them
