If your mate cuts coils on V2's ill drive up to Sydney and **** in is ear. If they dont go low enough, remove the rear spring perch.

            I have V2's

My car was really low when they were put in, the fronts were tucked and I couldnt turn, so had to lift it.
I still have problems with the fronts rubbing even with 1 degree negative camber

I dont know who says they dont go low enough, I can wind it down heaps

Sell the V2's for good money and buy a cheap set of FK's or Weitecs. They go lowwww.

I think your nuts, I'd like to poo in your muffler before I did any of that! If you can't get low on a set of V2s you have done something wrong!

I can go about another inch further down but can't cause of the width of the wheels! Sell the V2s and go and by airbags if he wants to do that! BTW there is a minimum distance that he is suppose to have for the coilovers, from the centre of the wheel to the top of the arch! If you don't do that you can seriously hamper the KWs!

Back wheels arent gonna be like this / \ with a VW.... If your mate wants to ride like that, get a BMW or a Holden with IRS. Actually tell him to get a Daewoo because anyone who tries to get that retarded rear camber look is an idiot.

Actually the beetle and many of the earlier air cooled vehicles had IRS so it's not all together uncommon in the VW scene.

When it comes to lowering IRS it's either massive camber or nothing. It will eat your tires, but as long as your aware of the costs... go for it! It's all personal preference when it comes to look in the modding scene anyway.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
