The weather's been so retarded these days! If all else fails, we could go to a shopping centre nearby and hope that a section of their parking lot is empty! Steve, you've proved that concrete playgrounds make great photo ops

der is only 1 place thats open!! and allowed for cars to jst bum around.. READING Cinemas @ Auburn! security allows meet ups etc.. as rhodes carpark is now closed for any type of meet ups.

That's a good idea too. A bit different to the current locations right now but I know there's a train yard-turned-gallery place in Redfern (next to the station) that has two large carparks both giving off the feel of the early 1900's industrial feel. Some bloody old and wrecked trains in the area also exude this feel. I usually park there when I have uni since the Camperdown campus of Sydney is only a 5 minute walk. Oh, and it's been used for a tampon commercial, don't ask why I noticed.

I'll see if I can find pics of this area.

Hey guys, just a bump on this and a few more ideas to throw around.

Since the meet-up is about 5pm, Steve and I was thinking maybe we could all go have dinner afterwards? To cater to everyone's tastes, I was thinking maybe we could go to an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant? One close to the photoshoot would be at Auburn RSL which is off Parramatta Road. I've enquired and they allow bookings - it is $17/person. I could also renew my membership so we could use the snooker/pool halls afterwards.

Also, there are a few that work on the Sunday til 9 so we could probably head out for another quick photoshoot at another location once everyone's ready.

Hopefully this could turn out to be more than just a photoshoot! I really want to get this rolling and since we have only a week left, I'd want to know ASAP if you're interested or not! The buffet restaurant at Auburn RSL can get quite busy on Sundays so ideally I'd want to book in a table (or two!) for us by Thursday.

my starter motor just blew up and i ran into a massive pot hole and there is a big bubble on my front left tyre because it got pinched.

once i get the starter motor replaced, i am going to have to get the front tyre replaced before I come down on the freeway as I don't really want to have a blow out.. I am so disappointed.

I might still come, but it would be via train and someone might need to help me out with a lift...

Ok Fellas here is a small update due to more interest shown then what I thought we have decided to expand this small photoshoot into something hopefully big

So the call is out to all VWs to come down and take some piccies, this was decided after interest was shown from other members over this Please go to the GTG section for updates and information
