Mk3 Amateur Photoshoot

Well my fellow mk3ers, as there are a few of us other mk3ers in Sydney and what not I have been speaking to a few of you about having a small photoshoot/ GTG.

The catch is just mk3ers well everyone else is more than welcomed but some have shown abit of interest.

I was thinking of one Sunday during December at Homebush Olympic Park, there is plenty of room to meet and also have plenty of photo oportunities as well.

So if anyone is interested place your name in here and we can get something going! It doesn't have to be big but its something that we can all meet if you guys haven't before and also compare and converse in conversation about our cars

Date: 16th December
I posted this date on the first page I think but would like to make it official.
Time: The time for this is 5PM onwards, this allows us time to get there, get everyone sorted out and chit chat and get some light photos before the night ones!
Where: Homebush Olympic Site Carpark not sure what its called but I have met there before for a few cruises and it seems to be half decent! The carpark is on Australia Drive, Off the Herb Elliot Drive, maps powered by google

I thought of this as the only time that we ever meet is at cruises well thats crap IMO. I'd like to meet up more with everyone even if its just to chuckle a few times! You look at the Tex and they get 20 cars on a weeknight for pizza in a carpark!!! I'd like to think that we could replicate that on a smaller scale though

I've already been out there for one photo shoot with the brother-in-law. IMHO Homebush looks GREAT at night Let me know when and I'll try to be there along with the DSLR, might even see if I can get the brother in law with his DSLR to come for some photo fun!


After my last trip I have some more idea's on refining the photography techniques to get some better images too.

Well considering i havnt got my vr6 yet ide love to come but ill come in my mates vr6 (cause he lost his licence lol) if thats kool with u guys.

Im currently looking at one that is pretty stock atm and my mate is returning his back to stock so when i get mine im swapping all the stuff over which would be pretty good.

Actually, that was a POS point and shoot camera which took a bunch of photos... then the new Windows Live! photo application stitched them together for me. If that didn't work my Wife has a bought version for her Mac that does the same thing.

I was very suprised how quick and easy the Windows (free) tool put it all together, eitherway it's very cool. I've pretty keen to head out for a GTG whenever there is one on that I can get to. (the boy likes them too! )

Excellent Feedback fellas I put this up together cause I'm sick of drooling on the tex about how they can get a 'WEEKLY' GTG with 25 cars week in and week out!

So anyway I was looking to mate it the 16th December which is a month around about probably late afternnon so we can get the late day and when the sun is going down for some excellent shots
