        I'm excited about these:

Measured them up yesterday with the help of Louis. They seem to have a lower offset compared to the BBS RS I had. Rough estimating from the measurements taken, I believe the rears are 8" ET35, and the fronts are 7" ET26, without adapters. I think the fronts will rub a bit hahaha.

And some of the Thule 404:

Maybe a bit too try-hard-ish with the rack on but I'm hoping to put it to good use this Uni break =)

They look nice... how much they set you back?

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

$300 with 8-9 year old tyres! Not bad aye! Needs a lot of work though, the paint is flaking off.

great looking wheels ray, are they keskin?
also wanted to ask what sort of filler did you use on your bumper? if you can please tell me the name of the product, cheers!

someone mentioned that offset is measured from the edge of the wheel to the bolt up point, i always thought it was from the centre of the wheel to mounting point otherwise +ve offset wouldn't exist

Yup, Work Equips. Found them in a drift shop down here.

Isopron/Isopon (forgot name!) is the filler I used. I managed to find it in a paint shop.

You're right with the offset, it's the centre of the wheel to the mounting face. It's just easier for me to measure up from the edge of the wheel to the mounting face, that's all!

                      • ^was just going to say, the deflector finishes the look off nicely. Good to see your not giving up on the car, just a minor set back mate, good luck with it all

                        • I've always been a fan of fat 5 spoke wheels on the mk3's, good job!!!

I used spot putty on my damaged wheels didn't look bad, and was a pretty workable surface. Cool roof racks, now all you need is a rusty barrel or something equally useless to strap to top with some substandard looking chord!

                              • HAHA thanks

I've asked for opinions and most have told me to renew my insurance first before I claim (it's due later this month) so premium won't shoot up until next year.
