Mk3 Mods..whats been done to yours?

I started thinking, whats next for the Golf. Apart from the in-car monitor the mods have been pretty slow. So I decided to make a list for my own benefit. Its sort of in order time wise..have a go! It can be eye opening..

1. Remove dodgy pin stripe fitted by dealer.
2. Replace GL tailights with VR6 ones (thanks TassieGTi).
3. Paint front grill badge black.
4. Install Ipod and fit JVC inch speakers.
5. Replace standard headlights with Angel Eyes.
6. Intall JVC DVD head unit (no monitor). Remove Ipod.
7. Mod standard airbox.
8. Paint rear VW badge black.
9. Remove GOLF and GL badges.
10. Fit 17's with 205x40xr17 Toyo Proxes.
11. Fit eibach lowered springs (with standard shocks).
12. Install VR6 front lip.
13. Fit front and rear seats from VR6.
14. Fit clear front bumper indicators.
15. Fit clear/smoked INPRO side markers.
16. Paint (badly) rear roof spolier, then have it repainted properly by smash repairs after some one bruised my bumper.
17. Remove suitcase muffler.
18. Remove headliner.
19. Install 7inch monitior in drivers sunvisor..
20. Uninstall 7inch monitor and install it above rear vision mirror.
21. ?????? But I guess I should replace the headliner soon..oh and install the lowering caps I bought from RayRay..

do u have any pictures of the monitors about rear vision mirror? also the sun visor 1's? i wanna get the sun visor 1's but dunno how to get all d wires down to the headunit.

no, but i'll take some. The monitior should have a loom, so a single yellow rca out of the head unit, plus earth and power and your done. All my wiring is behind the a pillar and under the dash. Do you have the monitor yet?

havnt bought them yet but will have maybe 1 sun visor, 1 monitor in d boot and 1 on d dash sumwhere

Nothing to be ashamed of bombsquad; I hardly have any engine mods either! This is what I have at the moment:

Koni Special struts (7/8 stiff front, 3/4 stiff rear)
GC coilover sleeves
GC springs custom made by Eibach (300lb front, 250lb rear)
VR6 brakes (288mm front, 5-studded all-around)
BBS RS - factory options from a Toyota Soarer (16x7 and 16x8, ET45; Nankang NS2 195/45R16 and 205/40R16 respectively)
Adapters for the above (1"/25mm front, 1.3"/33mm rear)
Modded stock airbox (cut open on the fender side)
K&N panel filter

Modded front bumper (shaved indicators + dummies; smoked Mk1 front indicators in lower vents; coloured satin black)
Modded rear bumper (shaved exhaust cutout; exhaust tips cut; shaved tow-hook cover; unpainted plastic)
VR6 grille
Stock late model side skirts
Black rear emblem
Debadged "Golf GL" emblem

front and rear badges painted in black

stearing wheel, control pedals, gear knob
front and side indicatoes painted in white (still work fine, indicate yellow)

2E top end, ported and polished, exhaust manifold to go in any day now (excited bout this one)

Fix stereo (improve mid-bass & bass response + relocate tweeters to door pods + dynamat doors)

Black glovebox for passenger side
New foot pedals
