Nah i saw a really clean blue vento when i was going to the dealership a couple weeks back.
thought it might have been u cause it looked like he was practicing pothole dodging !

You know what, it might've been me. I was driving around that area looking for Camden GTI (Damn GPS was sending me in circles!). That was before I started modding it

A little update:

Finally replaced ball seat bolts for conical seat bolts. The ball seats were already starting to ruin the wheels.


I bought a leather handbrake boot off ebay, not bad, a little saggy. Looks better than the old ripped one I had on there before.

I cant decide if I like the front camber or not. It makes the car look more legal but feels a whole lot more unsafe, especially in the wet. Aesthetically I think it looked better without camber (I like the poke) but it looks lower with it (without being lower...)
Camber or no camber? That is the question.

Oh, and recently I haven't been bashing the sump but the subframe hahaha. I'm still not game enough to drive it on unfamiliar roads lol

regarding the camber have you had the wheels alligned yet ? if so and it still feels unsafe id sat ditch it mate..... better to be safe then sorry

For those interested, I'll be entering the Show and Shine on Sunday. My car is no where near the point I wanted it to be at for any car show but maybe it'll get some interest seeing as all I've changed are the wheels and suspension, no tacky aftermarket grill or taillights made in Taiwan lol. Body and engine completely OEM

So I went back to the place that fitted my tyres to get a wheel alignment (which I already paid for)... Turns out I'm too low to get up the hoist for the alignment. ****. Anyone know of any places around South West Sydney that aren't just equipped for monster trucks?

I live in Milperra. I won't be getting the wheel alignment done til later next week now. I was hoping to have it done by tomorrow!

Hate to admit it but since nats I've raised the front about an inch (originally) then removed the camber bolts and lowered the front 10mm....meaning the front is now about 15mm higher than the other weekend. Still looks OK but it was way too hard driving around with my automatic trans hanging 200mm out in front of the wheels and less than 50mm off the ground, hit everything!
It was really drivable an inch higher but I was ashamed of how it looked lol.

No more mods in the near future, I'm building a computer and need to put time and money into that for a bit.

Plans are to get a NA lip and new grill eventually. Also thinking about my look for next year, I wanna still rock the 15s but a completely different style. hmmmmm

put some bigger profile tyres on to get the car off the deck but close up the wheel gap at the same time.
