Been thinking about coils, or maybe just a set of nice Bilstein shocks and custom springs.

Heres a few pics from my recent stezza install. Person pictured is one of my good mates who happens to also be a veedub nut like myself! Wish he kept his damn MK2 Jetta

Soldering in the new amp wiring

Amps mounted, time for a splitter

My lovely new headunit neatly installed, matches the original trim quite well

Wiring sucks! So much of it!

      WIP!

Time for the front speakers to go in along with the tweeters

Original tweeter holders were modified (ie hacked up) to fit the new ones so they are nicely hidden and not in the way. Worked a treat in the end

      No sub

All done! Sub was cheap and only temporary, but my god does it CRANK! hehe

Very nice! Love what you did with the tweeters. Good to see you went the extra effort to do it.

          Little update.
I got sick of the rear wiper rattling all the time against the window/boot, so decided to take a quick trip down to bunnings. Bought a 7/8" plastic plug, spent 10 mins removing the wiper and wiper motor assembly and ended up with this:

Then I took a trip down to Repco and installed this little safety feature:

Fits in the gap perfectly, didnt have to drill any holes and only punched a little hole in the carpet

Nice install, all those pics of the car pulled apart reminded me why i paid someone else to do it

P.S. The wire holder in the first pic is interesting

Looking great Lorenz! I hope the plug is a temporary fix before you have it completely deleted

Yeah Ray, it's only temp. Once I can afford to get the boot, front bar, rear bar and a few other bits painted/touched up, i'll get it done

VR6 Euro spoiler and another dual chamber light are on their way now. Then its time for a service. Then we will see what I can afford!

You might get pulled over for not having a rear wiper i know it sounds stupid but it has happened to ppl before. Reading the rules it says u arent allowed to remove a wiper from a windscreen and that if u have a wiper it must be operational. Fingers crossed for u

                    • Its all good if they don't know its there Lorenz doing the wiper will cost you about $400 max theyre is a chance that you will need to remove the glass cause it is so close where they will be welding. The heat of the welder could cause the glass to fracture, if they are really good then there is a chance they can leave it there!
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

Shouldnt cost me that much I reckon. Have a great new source for doing the welding, got a 1300$ welding job on my R31 done for 300$ by a very reputable SA automotive welding/car resto place who ill be taking the car to soon for some other bits and pieces

                            • Well last nite as I was dropping a lovely lady at home, my clutch pedal decided it would be nice to stay stuck to the floor and lose all pressure, meaning I couldnt engage and disengage the clutch, right in the middle of a big intersection!
After RAA came out to have a look, it appears the clutch cable hasnt infact snapped like I had first expected, but something between the end of the cable and the box has shat itself
Seeing the car on a car trailer was a sad sight for me TBH!
Off to a shop Monday morning to get sorted out, how it doesnt cost me too much

On the good side however, my new VR6 Euro lip arrived this morning, THANKS TIM!!
