Nice work.

Although not in any way a priority, I'm thinking of replacing my head unit with something blacker My Pioneer, like yours, is very silver and looks a little out of place in the dash.

I just wish I still had my JVC Chameleon:

Yeah this one was just so i had a cd player. I'll get a black one eventually lol. It isn't chrome though so it doesn't stand out to bad. For only $149 when it's RRP $329 i wasn't complaining! Silver goes with the colour of the car too...

Not sure. The one I had was bought new in 2001 then sold in a car earlier this year. At the time it wasn't worth pulling out.... now...

That is seriously one of the coolest units i've seen! My mate has a pretty awesome Alpine but that is good. Might have to keep my eyes out for one

i've got the kenwood kdc-mp333 which is basically the same thing except it is black all over but it doesn't support the external audio source (i.e. cd changer or ipod controller) and it doesn't have the aux-in...

yeah they had them at supercheap as well but this one was on special for same price so yeah got this one.

There is quite a few nice units that blend in well with the MK3 dash. Clarion and Blaupunkt are a couple of great examples.
