    • Nice Manifold man.

I would of polished it myself, but i suppose i've got the gear to do it..

600 bucks is cheap as man. Those guys obviously know what they're doing and have good gear, and most importantly, know how to cheat polish.

        • Small update

So I went on the weekend and took some photos cbf working but I did finish off the headliner

Due to the aussie dollar dropping I still have abit to buy from the states and its not helping so I'm going to wait a little and see how I go. So looks like I'll be flying down with the missus to see some mexicans and a car show lol, this has pissed me off cause I was hoping to make it down there but instead of spending money on the car I bought another plane ticket for Greece again

You can see mk4 brackets have been welded in place, there was abit of cutting and welding that was involved.

The all improtant rear piece that I needed.

And the other which locks in the rear foldable seats!
All of which was hit with zinc and then a coat of white paint.

And the dynomat which was 36 square feet didn't seem like much when it was put in the car, but makes a difference straight away, such an easy product to put down but I cut myself like 15 times doing it.

Any a few pics to enjoy.

Well get some more work done on the weekend this time with a complete interior

Yeah its seriously a bitch at the moment I honestly don't want to spend any more unneccessary money with this car.

In saying that I have been taking the train to work and it ain't to bad, and I have a spare car at home if I need to go anywhere so meh lol

Thanks to you I just filled up nearly two days at work reading this project haha so props to you It's really inspiring and it makes me want a project car more and more plus those important things like time and loads of money. It's going to be a while before that though

                          • Sandbags are found in under the foot wells, below the thick insulation padding.

Yep thats right not sure I'm guessing so there is actually a few layers of padding between the shell and the carpet believe it or not.
