I am interested in getting a chip but i have spoken to powerchip in melbourne & they want around 1k for a there chip, surely there is one out there cheaper than that.,.?? They told me that the power increase is up to 145kw.

I see that you said you are getting a GIAC one installled are the specks the same. I may give a seb a call i think.

Thanks mate, alot of time and effort for abit more than a few mods lol.

As for chips for the mk3 its very limited I can tell you that APR used to be in the game and now its only like GIAC and Powerchips, but there is also Neuspeed in the US but you need to see if they can make you a chip.

Yep your right Eric for the money its not all that great! I think the GIAC will go up actually due to the US market. When I got it only cost me $800 for all of the maps aswell

Small update

New Schrick gaskets came yesterday will put the schrick back together on the weekend and stare at it for a few hours

In all Autotech were awesome all up it cost me US$50 and it got sent Friday morning in the US it came Monday but I wasn't home big props to Autotech

Smallish Update

Ok so I was only able to work on the car this weekend on the Sunday and Louis gave me a hand doing it, without his help I'd be stuck on a lot of things!

So bassically this weekend was to try and get most of the interior put in and ready to roll. I didn't manage to get many photos but meh, we put in a decent ammount of hours on Sunday and we were happy with the progress but I don't think our backs were

Louis got to finishing his wiring for the system and putting it in nicely so that it wouldn't intrude when sitting in the car!

All the heating ducts were thrown in and then all the other stuff started going in slowly.





We then went out to Woolies and hired one of these puppies



And taking some inspiration from the boys at Mighty Car mods I went to town on the carpets and seats, no pics of the seats but the carpet shows greatness right there!





And this was the crap that came out of the carpets and seats, two full buckets like this it took to do the seats and carpet!





After that we got the carpets in and front seats in. Well this brought a big smile to my face cause well it meant that the interior is coming to a finish.........well eventually
