  • looks nice man! real nice though if you swap the 16's to the front you might be able to kill that front gap/reverse rake? dno, keen to see what you have installed with the "stay tuned" comment

No reverse rake, it's because that ground isn't flat. I'm 10mm gap between tyre in front, can't go lower due to unrolled guards.

I had 16's on front for ages and it looked ghey

So, I've been trying to buy a s/c kit for several months. Been screwed over a handful of times. Toyed the idea of a turbocharger for the last few days.

I'm going to play it by ear for the next couple weeks and see where I end up.

Probably the same thing as being 30mm off the ground, stupid amount of stretch, loud exhaust, no suspension travel, no rear seat, hid's and adapters.

Pretty sure driving a "high powered vehicle" on pplates is a whole different offence to defects, I'd personally stick to na on the pplates, it's only a couple of years anyway which go really fast (if you don't lose them for silly things like this), and if you start driving around in a crazy vrt on pplates it's a matter of when you're going to get pulled over and raped with fines, not if. Just saying, losing the license and giving the police thousands of dollars just for driving the car you are without being caught hooning gets old pretty quick, but thats just my 2c.

                        • I agree with Ben, it's not just a defect notice dude... I guess its your car though, and it means you'll get to drive faster and ill get to laugh at you when you get rolled by the cops. Everybody wins!

                          • Pretty sure he's nearly off he's p's so don't think it'll be that much of an issue. I don't see it as being any different to being heaps low though either. End of the day it's an illegal mod sure it might have a more severe consequence but obviously he knows that and is going to risk it, just the same as anyone else does that modifies their vehicle. Again just an opinion...

                              • Just saying, I'd rather drive my NA VR6 which is already powerful enough to put a smile on your face than supercharge it and risk a 3 month license suspension and $496 fine which is what the penalty is for driving a "high powered vehicle". Then I'd assume that your probationary period might be extended, leaving you with the option to possibly re-offend and get double butt raped, or remove your supercharger. Anthony, you might not see it differently to a defect notice but it appears the law does, as driving a car with a major defect notice will only get you a $397 fine and 3 demerit points.
