How'd the exhaust turn out?

Yeah I'm pretty happy with it, no more suitcase, but does have a middle muffler of sorts to take some of the edge off the drone. Fairly loud, and makes a bit of a thud at idle... which may or may not be a good thing.

A little bit, but has a 16" long dog/hot dog/what ever people call them to reduce drone, I'm pretty happy with the sound so far, haven't revved it up much really though, Ki11z's used to sound good back in the day so it will be quite similar just a bit less aggressive.

The colorconcept in the pic there has a suitcase delete and sounds good, bit of drone at continuous lower revs but not chronic.

Cheers bud. Getting a major service and a check over before it goes for RWC, doesn't have airbags yet, or a stereo, and missing some dash pieces. Will be bolted together pretty tightly by the end of it, lots of little bits have been freshened up since Mr Golf died.

Ok, I think I'm just being paranoid but VR owners.... how soon are your bottom hoses heating up. I'm getting mine up to temp (needle pointing north), top hose gets nice and hot...proper hot but the bottom is cold. Ki11z helped me get the thermostat out and did some thermo cooking in the kitchen and it seems to be working ok i.e it opens, what else?

i don't think you have anything to worry about, my bottom hose has always been much cooler then the top one before and after i replaced the crack pipe, housing, thermo and all those other bits that are prone to failure .

Probably shouldnt have disturbed that it was all new, once the Audi nightmare is over we will get this in check.
