Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

It seems that ECS offers heaps more options on the expansion tanks and can be a fair bit cheaper that GAP depending on if you go OEM or not

Sorry to get back to everyone so late, been tearing up my hands changing those hoses!

All hoses, expansion tank and cap come from GAP, don't have the invoice with me, but was only $65 there abouts for postage. Hoses were $225, expansion tank and cap where under $50 I think....

Also got G12 posted from Camden GTI for a good price as well.

Love the brake setup !! I reckon it'll look sweet as if u painted the calipers the same colour as the car but with the R sign on it.
Where did u buy from ?

Engine bay looks a lot fresher too

That was all fitted by Pedders. Rear will be done later this year.

Yes, very happy with the improvement.
