All manner of people drive all manner of cars, and you know what? Some of them are good, some of them are crap. Some of them are fast, some of them are not. Some are German, some Japanese, some from elsewhere. They all sell. They all have a market. I have driven and owned many cars from many makers and there are good and bad cars, with good and bad points across the board.
The point in question in this thread is wether a VR6 makes a good daily driver. I think I made my thoughts quite clear on this one in an earlier post with a well rounded and considered post:
No offense, I love my little VR6, but I have driven no car that comes close in character, fun factor, poo-my-pants factor, sex on wheels factor, than my old RX7. That was the hottest car I will ever own (unless I suddenly become very rich and buy myself a 911 Turbo or some such fantasy car). My old man recently bought a 2001 M3. Awesome car, but after owning it for 2 months he said to me "you know, this car is an awesome package, but for sheer thrills, drop dead gorgeous looks, and all the attention of a rockstar, nothing beats that old RX7 of yours. Only draw back with that thing was the killer fuel bill".
The VR6 fits exactly the mould I was looking for when buying this car: a cheap, economical, comfortable, practical, *reliable*, *rare*, middle ground car with 4 doors, no turbos, and a little bit of "go" to appease the boy in me - the perfect daily driver!
I really hope you are troll, otherwise you are a very sad person.
