Another random kids pointless VR6 thread

A little update, its been a while :O

Been a little bored so have prettied up a couple other pointless things. I'll let pics speak for themselves.








still not entirely happy with how the polished bits look, so will have to try and take another go at getting them shiny again. Still, right now the engine bay is cleaner then the outside of the car :S

Oh, and the other day this happened D: the cars probably worth half of what it was when i got it now haha

Looks good! Was thinking about doing that myself! 100000!! Man - mine is knocking on the door of 200000!! Its always in the back of my mind that I have a full engine rebuild in my future some day! Ahh well, good time for a supercharger!!

I'm 17, 18 in June but can't get my P's until then because I'm in stupid Victoria. I've got my eyes on a VR6 in NSW, just north of Sydney. They don't have any god damn VR6s in Vic >

I know the feeling patmould, was looking for one in queensland for a long time before making the trip down to sydney with a handfull of vr6 add's printed out haha. Ofcourse as soon as you go to NSW to grab one, a mint one will pop up in VIC cuase thats just how these things work haha.

Dont often get the chance to see a car click over 100000 so thought that was a reasonable excuse to grab a quick pic. haha (not that i did it myself or condone the use of mobile phone camera's whilst driving)

and yeah Ryan, car's still leaking coolant, top it up every few days ;-;. think it's the crack pipe leaking so if i ever find a real paying job that will be replaced along with most of the cooling system hopefully But yeah its actually just polished (almost mirror like now ive had another go at it) so thats just relections

Anyways the other day this showed up, many thanks to Golf Loon.

The tabs on the sides of it didnt want to clip in, so a couple holes and screws later it fits alright and it makes the car look so much less ratty.

really feeling some flush fitting wheels right now... but until I have money guess ill have to keep rocking these.

thanks stu, it has nothing on yours (especially if you ever get that r32 in) but nah wont be making sedf this year, haha. Like a 16 hour drive or something to make it down there :/

Would love to come check it out one year though if I ever get this thing up to a decent standard or find someone else to follow down from QLD haha.

Thanks alex i washed it before i came down, but then ofcourse it rained and by the time i got to brisbane was dirtier then before i touched it in the morning :/ yours was looking good too haha, gonna have some fun with those bits hopefully

cheers, i put it all back in last night and am not completely happy with it at the moment, a few things need trimming and tidying a bit up but it doesnt look to bad

I'm sure theres a fair few with lower km's out there, but yeah guess its not super common
