Stock 'duckbill', coilovers, custom bbs rims, sound system, extractors, exhaust. Maybe a brakes upgrade. Roof racks for bicycles

...oh and a rad golfball gear knob

Apart from the foremost mentioned, everything will be done NEXT year at the minimum.

Drive wise, Dad and uncle recons its fugening fantastic. I have driven it once, it is the first time I've driven a manual, therefore not licensed to comment. Auto I can drive, manual, well....I gotta work at it.

      Cheers for the compliments.

Quiz as previously stated: I know what it is, but do you?

Bottom of door, drivers side, there is one similiar to this one the other door as well as the passengers side.

        IN OTHER NEWS:
-More blackening on the handles, alot less streaky, very black.
-A/C with flying foam stuck behind on of the vents. Bad picture. Theres some on the right and left, the left peices are grey and hard to see.

        Better pictures of car.

Me getting into all the senstive spots...'that feels better doesn't baby..'

          Haha, very nice man.

I'm gonna go right ahead and promote my favourite product, KIWI SHOE POLISH.

Get it from woolies at like $4 per bottle, and it comes with the little foam pad on top to apply it with. Put it on your black textured bumpers. They come out like this:

Haha, that stuff gets so annoying. If Im driving my mums one and turn the AC on full ball, bits of black foam come shooting out of the vents all over me and whoever is in the passenger seat.

Tweezers are the best option to get out the bits stuck against the grilles, the foam melts and sticks to the plastic very easily as I found out when trying to drag it out with my fingers one day...

Advice had been taken from previous thread. Kiwi polish is being used (kids scruff version).
1/ How did you get yours SO black
2/ Best method for applying streak free on larger areas!

Porn, which shall involve no shame. Thank you.

                Hahah.

                1. Believe it or not, I just applied kiwi shoe polish after a wash. I used to do it about once every month but it hardly wears off. After about...probably over 8 months of not properly applying it, I'm going to need to do it again soon because it's fading. I think $2 every 6 months is a good investment for black bumpers

                2. What exactly do you mean? If it streaks, then that means the plastic isn't picking it up very nicely. I'd suggest going over it softly with a wet-dry 400 piece of sandpaper, cleaning it with wax and grease remover and trying again. I'll be doing this to all my bumpers soon too.

Streaking as in, not applying evenly and meaning you got to spend time 'blending' it in so everything is even.

Are the handles a different material to the lips/sideskirts/uncoloured body parts, they're really plasticy, or is the wear on the handles which makes them feel different.

Handles and spoiler can't be shoe polish-ed, because they're not as porous as the bumper trim and won't hold the shoe polish.

Whaat? Handles hold the stuff the best.

my handles hold stuff until it drips out the bottom...so overnight? then i get a nice stain on my doors. really perfects the whole "clean" look.

Handles have caused me zero problems, but a bird has. It's shat on my roof. off to clean it now (and to track down and assassinate the bird.)

Yo all, after 4 weeks of the completion of two major projects tatking up all my time, and only driving my car 3 times during those weeks, I sat, and had a play with my car today.
I noticed that the boot light wasn't connected, so I connected it...hehehe

Also the steerer fluid container was loose so I fastened it down.

I also noticed the two front seats seemed a bit loose, assuming its just in need of tightening, is there a DIY for this?

                            More questions...

Any recommended mechainics who will re-gas, oil change and do a general servive.... I want only the best.
ANd how much should I bugdet for?approx.

                            Anyway, thanks for the help...

The only service I didn't do myself was performed by the bloke I bought my car off....Steve Natoli, who's down around Five Dock. He charged me like $120 for oil, filters and general look-over, which seems to sound far cheaper than most of the newer dubbers pay for a service haha. Might be worth checking him out because I know he's a guru?

Anyone can re-gas the aircon...golf loon always asks people if they want it done, I had my previous car done by someone who came to me for about $100, meh.
