my mk3 got defected after police saw photos on here, checked the rego and then came to my house and gave it a major defect in my garage. its still being fought in court (has been like 4 months since it happened but they're screwing me around hard, ohwell, have asked for a hearing and with some luck ill be found innocent and they will actually have to fork out some serious cash to pay my legal fees (how good would that be, taking money from qps instead of giving it!)) but yeah, was the reason I had to sell the car ultimately

Was just thinking I hadn't seen many pics of yours Pat considering it picked up a prize. Looking good, now you have to improve on it somehow for next show :p

haha yep, plenty of things to do. Not sure how that'll go whilst fixing up another VR6 at the same time but we'll see

yeah it sucked, would definitely recommend blurring out number plates to those with extensive mods.

e30 came off pretty well considering what happened, couldn't really have possibly had a better outcome once it slipped off the track into the muddy grass which had seen nothing but rain for a whole month, with a concrete barrier like a meter away, going over 100kmh. Lucky no one was hurt, let alone the relatively minor damage, messed up the fender, corner of bonnet and bumper. Picked up a fender from a mate, hammered some things out and straightened out the bumper. Sourcing a new bumper and trim bits now and will be getting quotes to get it painted up tomorrow.

Hope I dont get into trouble for posting non mk3 content, but heres how it sits now

Maybe ill make a build thread for it in the BMW section, have some exciting plans for it (going in quite a different direction to the last golf, lets just say this one will be far from slow)

I vote we adopt the build thread into the mk3 section. No one will really see it in the Bimmer section! Its a 3 series anyway. That kinda counts.
