Converted CL from Camden GTI a few years ago, but I think it was somewhere near stock and sold privately with the VW 2800 plates. As far as I know the car is now supercharged on KW V2s and obviously the BBS wheels, possibly a few other mods too.
vw 2800, I remember you sending me a PM ages ago but I rarely go on Watercooled. I've got the black VR on Meisters with plates VR6. Would love to kick it and have a chat
EDIT- In regards to swap legalities; very simple, as Jarred says you're not doing anything complex or illegal. Simple swap across the same platform, all you'll pay is for an engine details & number change (80 bucks I think) and the usual registration process.
No need for engineers because the AAA motor is listed as a motor that can go into a mk 3 (1H chassis). Should just be able to swap then engine over and bob's your uncle. (Stu had no issues getting his mk 3 cabby rego'd with the VR engine.) Not 100% sure on the brakes, as I'm not sure what Vicroads would have to distinguish which mk 3 had what brakes etc.
Although the S/C may actually needs engineering (I somehow missed that before)

vw2800 Pm mk1turbo79, he supercharged his vr before he turboed it. I'm sure he can give you some contacts.
I think some dude from 4seasonstuning helped him alot ?
Oh and as for that vems ecu from lugtronic, I told ya don't get it cause u will still have to adjust the tune (another $1k or so, and there it goes over that $2k)
Hold on to it abit more longer, I'm sure you'll get sorted out ! (reckon I can probably take it off ya at the end of the year when I've got time)
