Theyre not that had to fit, they where like the first kinda "big" thing I did to my car, and I got it done in a day or so. Getting the fronts out was a real bitch though as dark said, had to drill my old shocks out after breakin a handfull of tools trying to get the impossibly tight nuts off.

Still very doable for an adventurous DIYer. If you have air tools it would be incredibly easy. All they really are is a few bolts.

If you've got a rattle gun then that top bolt will come off easy as. Coils were the first thing I did to my car as well, and I didn't find it that hard. perfectly do able on your own.
