oh, and whilst pulling apart the other light today I accidently stepped on and smashed the other glass lense!! fook me thinking of buying some cheapies of egay and swapping the insides?

and i'm suprised no has passed comment on how the hell these lights will work! there will be next to no light output now so i've bought a pair of new oem's for street/night driving

On the bonnet - if you're going to have the car road registered, there are regulations in all states of Australia which prevent carbon fiber bonnets (ones that actually weigh less than stock steel ones0 from being legal - they shatter nastily in a frontal collision, not nice for anyone involved, especially not a pedestrian.

update time!

Bought some new oem heavy duty upper strut mounts and fuel lines brackets. (the original fuel line brackets are plastic and deteriorate as I found out when it crumbled into my hand apon removal )


also fitted up the painted non-abs brake system. booster, cylinder, reservoir n lines. Though one of the lines that I had snatched from a wreckers had been savaged by someone with three attempted cut marks gotta go get another one now . . .



And the car is back on the ground!

cool, but I spoke to a mate about it and he reckons it won't end up being that much lighter, like maybe 3kgs or something?! not worth my time to make or my money for another to make me thinks . . . thanks though
