    Mk3 fam,

I bought this awesome little red '95 VR6 Colourconcept.
I'm still not entirely sure why, but I wanted it.

The plan so far is to have a general tidy up, to get it nice and grandpa spec and maybe show a little face at my local cars and coffee.

I understand this was a forum car before. I'm keen to know more about it and what pics or info people have. I bought it from nice guy named Chris.

I'm still trying to remember how to post pics on a forum. I've attempted to attach one.

I have taken the BBS reps off and gave the stockies a real blast and put them on.

    Nice, looks awesome.

I still miss my VR6 from 20 years ago ..... its 1 of a handful cars I've owned I'd happily buy again.

So some rummaging I found these. Looks like it's Bryce's old car and the wheels he sold ties it to that other link.

A great looking colour concept! I have a green one that I've owned for 12 years now. A fantastic car and a pleasure to drive.

Thanks team. Still haven't regoed it but I'll get there.

Dyl the paint is largely ok but a couple of doors have lost a bit of their gloss. They'll probably need a respray.

Thanks MattyT, yes I remember your green one from peak VWW days. Always looked good. I got my first VR6 in 2007 too but have been through a few cars since. Clearly none that tugged the heart strings like the VR. I'm struggling to think of what I'd replace them with.

I'm having the same problem too, the VR6 is a nice car but mine is falling to bits and I'm spending far more on it than I'm comfortable with... but I haven't got a clue about what I'd replace it with. A 6R Polo seems like a logical choice, but a boring one.

Owned an identical one for 2 years. If it wasn't for fuel man it would still be around; damn I miss that car
