at a bit of a loss :/ am currently enginelesslooking for a mk2 or mk3 16v but their hard to find..
anyway been working on the dash among other things and just used epoxy to fill the cracks i am folling this guideVWVortex.com - DIY Dash Restore Mk1.....

Are you taking the whole engine or just the bottom end to put your head on?
Earlier head on the 2Ee block is a much better upgrade than 2e block with 2e head.
