Should I import my GTI when I leave the UK?

Should I import it or not worry. Not sure about the VW scene, was more clued up on 4wds and BMWs until I got to the UK.

I think you should. Very, very few 2 door Mk2s in Australia. It'd be a nice thing to belt about and I'm sure you'd get your money back when it came time to sell.

UR is doable from oz. I brought my mk2 out any questions ask although there should be plenty of threads using the search function mate.

Yes, I see loads of Poms come here and then realize all too late that there are no good Mk2s or other Vws here. Bring a good un and redress the balance. I reckon a good 2 door Mk2 is worth 10gs out here.

Bloody hell! Looks like i might be exporting my golf, If I can find the funds first. The shipping company says if i can get all my stuff into the car, then I'll save on shipping costs. Only have to ship a car, not the boxes!
