Gauges never used to work on mine until i sorted out a few of the earth straps. I can't see the one for the bonnet on your pic above. That was the one that caused my problems.

Wow, its been a while since the last update on this.
I`m nearly there......
Brakes are bled, gearlinkages are correct.
Interior is 90% finished.
All electrics work, now earths are plugged in.
Had to take the fuel tank out and clean 28 years worth of corruption out of it. Car runs heaps sweeter now.
Just waiting on a new fuel filter and she`ll be roaring again.
