well it wasnt really on the plans but ive been eying off everyone elses mk1 projects, and also been craving a 3dr golf of some sort. so when jayjay suggested buying an mk1 i thought hell why not. 
so anyway here it is. its a genuine one owner! been garaged its whole life from 1977. absolutely no rust. some of you might have seen it on ebay. not sure what we have planned for it yet. we were thinking possibly 16v? shame they're so hard to come by over here though. so yep fire away with any suggestions

 A 2 door GLS is extremely rare in Aus and much more of a sort after beast than the common LS with leftover swallowtail rear panels banged on the back.  I just don’t get the obsession with the Mk1 swallowtail, especially given their history in Australia
