wed morning headed to vicroads and got it regoed...drove to work parked it. finished work drove home. gathered some friends went up the mountain *mount dandy)...for a little bit. then near the top of the mountain i started to hear a scraping noise...pulled over the other boys were like nah man its just the clutch bearing. carried on.
noise got worse and worse. then was a loud very loud scrapping rattley sound. turned her off...rolled her 11km down the mountain and then got a tow truck to home...20km exactly didn't cost a cent
got up the next morning went to work on the bus. got dropped home by a friend at night then got to work on the car...wondering what the noise was...i thought maybe the flywheel was loose...and sure enought after dropping the box by 9 that night it was very loose! and that was the rattling noise i could hear. tightened the bolts good and propper and then replace the 5 speed with a 4 speed i had lying around. (my 5speed needs rebuilding anyway )
so after all that i now have my car all fixed and going again this morning at 9 and drove to work again
OMG. Hope you did em up proper this time.

Haha close call, Stu! Flywheels are very dangerous unrestrained!
i have heard!!!
glad i stopped when i did! nothing was broken or bent...the bolts were a tiny bit loose and the flywheel was just riggling around...was very close to stuffing it majorly!!!
