Here begins my week off work and look what i got today. Ebay special. Only wanted it for the chrome trim.

Also work has started in the garage. Here is my start of the week engine shot. Should start to look a bit different by Friday!

Sticking with the same engine altho smoothing the bay and loosing things will be difficult with the K-Jet. I've already put in a fast road cam, k&n filter, upgraded the injectors etc.
I'm just now trying to work out what i can loose/relocate. If i take out the skuttle panel section then i will really need to remove the heater matrix, which means no blower for the screen, which over here is very needed. Especially as this was the view i had in the back garden this morning! About an inch of snow with more falling. Nice when its April!

Very nice build you got going there. It looks a bit chilly over there atm!

I agree with Jarred - I like the A3 wheels with out the centres! The looked the goods!

To quote wabbit, are you running no bumpers?
and allthough I luv the classics, the A3's look equally as nice and with the mentioned powercoated black centers they should look the biz me thinks

                  Cool ride!!!
Out of interest, can you buy the wider flare/lower qauter panel to widen them, or do you have someone make them up for you?
Ive been keen to widebody mine similar.

                    Cheers mate.

I just bought new wings and rear quarters and cut off the arches. Bit of a wastefull way of doing it, but the only way to get what i wanted.

Bumperless all the way. There was a tin top over here last year that was at all the shows with the bumpers smoothed off (was 2 tone brown) but no cabrios yet that i have seen. Gotta be a little different. Trying to make it look tough as opposed to the normal hairdresser clipper kit look.

Why does it have to be sooooo cold in Britain! Currently 11.45am, 2 degrees C outside and i've just been battered by a hail storm coming in the front of the garage.

2hrs on and Rad is out, oil out, airbox + pipes etc out, expansion bottle out, washer jet bottle out, etc etc, and i've wound the suspension back up to a reasonable height to work on the car. It better all be worth it in the end!
