Right, since my last post, engine is now out, gearbox has been removed and the bay is almost empty. Been on a big spend up today got,
Piston Rings,
Poly Bushes Kit,
2 Engine Mounts,
Crankshaft Oil Seals for both ends,
Head gasket,
Sump Gasket,
Rocker Cover Gasket,
Top Fill Rad, to replace current one so i can remove expansion tank,
Connector for rubber waterpipe going through bulkhead,
Oil filter, oil, gearbox oil,
Driveshaft gearbox seal kits,
etc etc...........
Only one problem, managed to break the locating key on the small pulley on the end of the crankshaft whilst removing the nut to get to the oil seal. Not sure where i'm going to get a new pulley from now tho!
Still, this lot should help keep me busy for the next 3 days.
Will post up some more pics soon.

how the hec did you get it that clan and shiny??!?
I ask this cause I have a g'box that could do with a clean
Firstly, loadsa engine de-greaser (GUNK), cleaned it all off.
Then used different size/shape wire wheels on the end of an electic drill to buff off all the grime.
Then washed it all down again, then cleaned it all with cellulose thinners, before today i will give it a coat of lacquer to protect it.
Job done!
