small update when i removed the engine and box i tried the turbo shaft for play and was happy with the way it felt, since then all ports throttle inlet etc have been covered up, i changed the cambelt and decided to inspect the turbo ive found 4 out of the 6 outer blades are bent ! something has been drawn in and damaged them in its life time.

I ordered a genuine turbo to replace this one i did try a ko4 but the pipe work would of fouled the driveshaft so i stuck with the ko3

Such a nice finish, fastidious and classic finish (interim). Well done, it looks outstanding.

                                small update

ive been smoothing out some small issues and tidying the car up one of which was fitting a new battery box in the rear

ive decided i need to go a little lower and to do this i need my front wheels to tuck so im changing the front brakes

at the moment the wilwood calipers need big spacers for the wheels to clear so im changing them

the adapters and discs arrived the other day
