cheers for that! ill have a play around with it on saturday when i cant first get to it. might actually do it without dad, nothing wrong with trying. But no really, I like to look distinguished when I step out of the car. People are like, "wonder what he does for living."

I had fixed half the broken crap but that just meant it was still halfway inoperable

messed around with the linkage today and was wondering what was causing so much play (5-10mm of play throughout linkage) and saw that almost all of the bushings were either missing or worn, so just ordered some new bushings. i want this thing done by vdubs in the square. But no really, I like to look distinguished when I step out of the car. More pix please. It's been ages since we've seen the whole car.
Cheers

Any electrically operated horn will do (not air horns). Mount it anywhere at the front.1978 MK1 2.0 16v http://www.vwwatercooled.com.au/foru...-46488-70.html

golf went in for rego today!
it failed
only on some very minor points however
- left low beam not working
- reverse lights not working
- battery insecure
- oil leaks - repair and clean
- rear engine mount missing bolt (i was so dumb, i had the bolt sitting ready to go in)
- exhaust loose where extractors connect
- fit proper fuel cap
- rear tyres starting to separate (new tires are coming in soon)But no really, I like to look distinguished when I step out of the car. People are like, "wonder what he does for living."
