When can I pick up the bridge haha.

She definitely does not appreciate the mk1 at all, she is too comfortable, doesn't like it due to the lack of aircon... Lame!

Suede would have been awesome, but this cost heaps as it was. and this matches the seats

Looks like you've missed your calling, you should be a certified dash repairer. Great job!

good lord that dash is gorgeous, puts mine to shame!
But no really, I like to look distinguished when I step out of the car. People are like, "wonder what he does for living."
I just reply, "your daughter, sir." - some dude on stanceworks

I had fixed half the broken crap but that just meant it was still halfway inoperable

Gah. So much time away from the forum. So many things missed!

You car is looking great, mate. Really well done. I love this stuff. I LOVE what you've done with the dash. You've given me some ideas for mine. Keep that **** up.

Also, if you want to go TDI, talk to gldgti. Aydan has been there. More than once.

                    Thanks everyone,

Preen, I have had some forum discussions with him, and will definitely hit everyone up when the time comes to do the diesel engine conversion.... In some time.. I just wanna drive it now.

                        Update time

So got the carpet into the car.

Sorted out the parcel shelf, and re-covered.

Got the dash strip trim covered in the same material as the seats

Started putting the doors back together.

And got the trim stretched and glued in place for the inner body seals to go back in.

Some seriously good work happening here. Well done but I do hope that's not your feet in the pink shoes.

                          Cheers
