now............. what to do with myself and the wabit????
P.S. I saw a Mk1 in Europe last year with gold-centred rims and then matching gold trim around the grille: I know it sounds bad/tacky, but it actually looked awesome and drew a lot of attention. I'll have to try and find the pic... Maybe something to try out aswell anyway.

I like it. it's different, and while it's not a great colour match with the rest of the car, is will def work when the bonnet is open. thumbs up for being different;
no-one would really see it though, unless you took your wheel off when you was showing it.. which you wouldn't do, would you... cause it's not a show thing is it? no.. thats right.
build it to thrill *EDIT* thrash, not thrill thrash...
well scine people outside the vw world doesnt know what the blue trim is for... ive decided to make a little proto type grille from photoshop i am thinking of doing.......
i will be chopping the grill ribs and making in flush to the black panel behind the ribs like so.... then droping in the vw motorsport badge so it looks pressed in.... the ribs will be removed just enough to fit the badge.... say 1mm bigger on each side so the badge so it fits nice and snug .....
