      Back from Germany and got time to strip and prime the engine bay.

        Got round to painting the engine bay.

        Stripped and reconditioned the steering rack and brake assembly.



        Got the brake linkage and wiring refitted and new lights.

          Up Date

          Got round to some work on the MK1 this week.
          Coilovers fitted.


          Duckbill fitted


          New wheel-bearings, bottom ball joints, polly bushes and hubs fitted.



          New steering rack boots and clips ftted.

            Slow and steady gets you the best results. I am enjoying seeing how this takes shape.

            I probably should do exactly what you have done and remove the engine and tidy it all up like that, but I love driving it too much to have the engine out for too long!

            Don't be a stranger and keep us up to date.

              Bagged myself and brand-new unused Vw front bumper bar.


              Fitted up with new clear indicators.

                            Up date and Questions

                            Got my wheels fitted and suspension down to a high i am happy with.



                            Now with the Questions>>> Does anybody have a arch rolling tool or know some one in the Sydney area with one?
                            Also does anybody know were you get get a 1.8t 20 valve fitting kit,engine/gearbox mounts?
