Great build, looks like a car you really have fun with.

I have a Superbrake bar in my Mk1 - imported it from the UK. I have to say they're not that great if you don't brace the booster area, though. Instead of the flex running through the bar like in the standard linkage, it just transfers onto the booster mount!

I'm yet to modify mine further, but it does need doing to get better results.

I like the idea of only a couple of pivot points to reduce the slop in the brake linkages instead of the 6 of the standard setup. Anything to make the MK1 brakes better.

Looks like the easiest way is to build my own. I'm putting in a brake booster off a 97 polo so I'll make it to suit that booster. Thanks for the tip on bracing the booster, I'll over engineer that part.

            Cheers

I have been running the Autocavan set up for a couple of years and have had no trouble with it but will have a close inspection around the servo frame just to make sure, thanks for pointing it out.

On another note seam welded and powder coated front wishbones have just come back so that a little job for one weekend this month
