        • Anyone know how he/she did those wheels on the white '74? It looks like chrome Beetle centers but what wheel did he use (couldnt be bettle wheels).

I wonder if the Beetle centers fit normal MK1 Golf centers???

          • It might just be. There was a feature on a "Geetle" in Golf+ magazine a few issues back - it was a Mk1 Golf with Beetle features including complete interior and wheels (widened 14" Theo Decker wheels, had 4x130 stud pattern so the owner used adapters to fit them on).
            Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
            Present: Mk3 Golf variant.

Just a very brief google search - http://www.thegolf.co.uk/magazine/16...mber-2007.html
It was owned and done by a guy in Germany, so if you know any German forums, you could probably give them a search for this!

                            • Nick looking cabrio, but is he mad!

                              No roll over hoop!

Wonder what if anything he has done to strenghten up the chassis, otherwise it will handle like a jelly, talk about body roll!
