Really nice Mk1 one there Josh, Good to see the cosmetic changes and also its journey to roadworthiness!
Would be interested to know where you got your crosshair headlights from?
Also wondering, apart from looking cool, what are the point of having crosshairs?1976 Mk1 LS 2L ABA K-Jet

i have no idea bro! i just want mine to be a retro racerand i THINK crosshairs are racing lights?? (someone correct me if i'm wrong)
I have been really blessed to have found basically all the parts i want/need very close by! the crosshairs were PRISTEEN when i got them, the lube was still on the bolts for goodness sake!! and i got them for $100!!! thats unheard of!
Just make your plans known and keep an interesting thread and you will find people will PM you if they can help in any way! i found a major technical problem on saturday... chucked it on my thread... and a legendary dude had PM'd me by noon sunday with EXACTLY what i need!!
Keep friendly positive and always be making progress, and you will find people will take interest in your project and almost "get involved"its great!

What do people think of me getting GTI stripes?? i'm torn... i think it has potential.. but it also can look super gay...
I'm almost thinking white GTI stirpes.. its not ridgy didge but its a cool modern take on a retro concept.. and we all know how well white and miami blue go together!
Maybe a bit like this?? excuse my rushed photoshop jobLast edited by JoshFair; 12-05-2010, 12:27 AM.2012 Ford Focus - Panther Black

Speaking of which, i think i posted some tips on welding the holes up in my Mk1 16v thread.
