Lesson learned and I think I'll be getting a fire extinguisher for the mk1!Ghetto-Rennen

You know you drive a MK1 Golf when smoke starts coming from under the dash because of a short somewhere and while you're fixing it in heavy traffic the radio says someone has broken down on the same road you're on and blocking traffic and you look around to see where the idiot is.1978 MK1 2.0 16v http://www.vwwatercooled.com.au/foru...-46488-70.html

You know you drive a MK1 Golf when you're chasing an old hot Escort 2 Litre up a mountain pass and when you get to the top, while waiting for the Escort to catch up, you discover one of your rear tyres is flat and has been flat for the entire chase.
The car felt funny through right hand corners but could still be pushed hard.Last edited by sports racer; 14-08-2009, 11:31 PM.1978 MK1 2.0 16v http://www.vwwatercooled.com.au/foru...-46488-70.html
