cheers dom, yeah the wheels were awesome and worked really well for the event. We were really fighting hard with a Torana gtr for most of the rally trading times with him on most stages until he crashed out in the wet. I'd like to think it was the pressure of competing against a VW with half the power that made him try too hard. The triumph tr7 also crashed out which we were race neck and neck with too. The porsche ended up winning by 11min over us but we copped two 4 minute penalties for excessive speed so to be beaten by a fully bombed porsche over 900km by 3min track time is a great result and he was more than shocked to discover we smashed him on a couple of stages. We managed to pass most of the other cars in our category on track and passed a fair few modern cars on the road too including a ferrari 575, a clubsport, a mivec mirage twice, a v8 stag 3 times and beat the r32's times in a couple of stages i think. In the prologue it was terrential conditions and we managed to post a top 35 time in a field of 95 cars which i am most pleased about, a lot of people were interested to find out more about the car after that
