Volksee do the CAMS classic regs allow engine swaps for larger units? I know they don't in Modern M2C2 class or I would have shipped the thing over to HGP in Germany for a twin turbo kit ages ago.

                  Congrats Volksee.

I usually go and watch the rally, but was a bit hectic this year and it sailed right by me.

Great result, and I'm pi$$ed I wasnt there to wave you on.

Excluding the original car itself, can I ask what the budget was to enter and set up?

Luke, thought you might be interested to know you made the pages of Rally Sport web magazine in their warp up of the results of Targa West. No images I'm afraid but you guys get a mention in the wrap up of the results.

Volksee thats made my day reading this!! I like your style dude, keeping it fairly quiet and then just posting it all up!!

How did you get it thru scrutineering with all those mods? I was planning something similar with the mk2 last year but after reading all the regs it said i couldn't do an engine transplant and enter lagally. Ididnt knowyou could do big brake upgrades and turbo charging etc for targa west? I even wrote a huge letter to paul blank about how the regs only suit evo's and porsche's and it wasn't 'good for the sport' haha.

Anyway thats just awesome you've done that man i'm really happy for you! And so good to see those smug pratts in their v8's and ferrari's getting trounced

I may be joining you next year in my mk2 or my mk1 2 door!!!!
