One thing to be careful of with flappers (your white walls) is that you keep an eye on the sidewall of your tyre. The edge for the flapper rubs on the sidewall and can cut into it. A hotrodder mate in town told me about it, and sure enough, he's right.
at least mine isnt gathering dust without an engine

man the suspension just turned up so its time to fit it. recommend anyone buying from over in the uk to look at veedubmachine on ebay. payed last wednesday, got email from parcel force friday, on my door monday night. so friggin excited right now!!
finally coilovers are in, took me about 4 .5 hours to do the lot. not bad for someone who doesnt know what they're doing (with a little advice from jarred, cheers and a couple of tools from the boys at volkwerke) lowered to a nice stance i think. what do ya think?
rides really well, bit stiff but not as bad as i thought it would be, i think it feels better like this rather than like i am driving a boat anyway. plenty more room to go lower. 65mm in the front left and 15mm in the rear left on the coils.
