nevermind crashes, its just plain illegal and very unroadworthy to roll without a bumper, just imagine if you were a cop and you saw a commodore with no bumpers? Imagine what theyll think of your mk1 also? And a side note, the mk1 bumpers arnet designed to take the crash impact, only the arms inside the engine bay are designed to take the impact, the only models i am aware of that have bumper protection are the u.s spec alloy bumper's they have hydraulic arms between the bumper and mounting brackets

ahhh dom you are a funny guy trying to tell me about illegal, ive seen some of your pics of your mk1, dont think the wheels and tyres that close to the guards would be exactly legal, oh yeah and the cab you were running 17's on not sure that was legal either pal. as you obviously know, sometimes you overlook the legal side of things to make things look a little better.

here are some pics of the inside for ya jarred

Seriously I would, I don't think its bad if you have your indicators mounted correctly then its not illegal!

The front bars do **** all, I passed without a blue slip without the rear one attached! Look at how low our cars are dude thats more dangerous than running without a plastic front bar!

& you need to put the metal bumpers on that STRAIGHT AWAY.

thats a fair point and what i have done is illegal BUT, i see it like this, you need 4 wheels to drive yes? im not removing wheels or anything from the wheels, they are just "modified" whereas you are removing something from the body that will look "modified" as i said mine are illegal but a copper cruising past the other way down a street needs to look hard at what i have done, (apart from ride height LOL) if i were a copper, i would definetly notice a front bar missing off a car, please dont take this as having a go at ya, just trying to bring things back to reality and common scence

                  cheers

True what you say but if us low riders are to hit or skip and it has happened you and me both with our sumps! But for Rayray he almost went off a cliff cause he went over a crack in the ground as he was turning and went hard, skipped and flucked up his subframe on the emkaytree!

                    Peace to you homes

Looks really good mate, I'm excited to see the Ats on it.

As for the bumpers I would leave them on, officers in blue wont like it with out.
