Look a $500 mk1 that needs $5K spending on it to bring it up to GTI spec is not a bargain...

nicks farm is a heaven for all golf owners, and what the photo dont show is all he aircooled babies hmmmm he is a good guy helped me out a tonne of times and yes he is a busy man, and keen on departing with parts, might take a while for him to get them off the car but hey whats time for a hard to get stuff, like wanting a certain door off one will mean rain will get in and attack the rest of the shell he thinks this way so he does respect all vw's, never had any prob with him. kudos
      the golf is not dead.

        daaamn.
those pics are the worst thing ive seen in quite a while.
        thats shocking.
i cant beleive people would actually sit by n let that sort of thing happen to mk1s.
if i didnt buy the one i got, i would have saved one of those poor babies

        much sadness.
hopefully some good souls out there will hear the call!

Smacked into a pole hard by a young bloke. Hit right at the middle in the front and chassis was buckled and twisted. We cut the front to get the engine out. The Auto was shattered into 20 pieces!

Nice work there Dave, i usually drag em out on a tyre, but thats a killer steep drive you have there

Your other car looked ok though, post some progress pics of that
