this is the second time in recent weeks he's copped it and i think the mods should really step in and sort some people out. i'm surprised he's even still a member here, i wouldn't be after being treated so crap.

It looks great Gordan, good luck with it. I can't say I have ever seen that colour in the flesh either.

I envy you getting into cars at your age, I never was able to get a project car when I was 15, it would have been a great way to learn my way, mechanically, around a car. I think you'd probably know more about how to fix up cars than me, and I'm five years older than you.

Mine was originally that colour. Mollins and gldgti's car is that colour.. There's a heap around that colour.

Its a nice shade. I like it. I only went white for a change..

By the way dude, most of us (or me at the very least) aren't trying to cut you down or flame you.. But you really need to proof read things more and stop being so ambitious. Ask questions instead of making statements, etc.

                      Hey mate,

The colour is beautiful, I will be painting my new mk1 this colour haha.

What about some standard steelies and just a small drop? would look pretty nice I think, maybe try to restore little things like the badges and interior trim.

Its pretty easy to get carried away on here and keep in mind, not everyone has the same level of articulation and communication skill not to mention a basic English literacy level. In these cases the only thing you can do is be patient and give the individual a chance to correctly respond.

Keep it up 16v_kid I look forward to seeing the finished product.

i love the colour mate, looks like a great little car in excellent condition.
id be going for the simple fix up and restore bits n pieces route with her n keep the 1.6 auto,
no need to rush in with dumping it and schmicko wheels n all that jazz, take your time and treat her like a lady - rome wasnt built in a day

cant wait to see things unfold with her!
