    • put the interior back in, as well as fitting chrome interior door pulls, and a rad 80's tape deck. might even have some rad 80's speaker covers to go with.

ordered a new hose cause one had a small burst and made me loose lots of water. car should be up and running for this weekend, we should see a few kms!

      • ha-haaa I can contribute.

I fixed the parcel shelf to stop it falling in to the boot every time you open the hatch and re-covered it with a picknic rug kindo pattern. Fixing it was a pain in the butt! I still cant work out how it was suposta work when it was new.

I also changed my center caps to something a bit more special.

                • Tried to tune the car. Failed. I will start again from the beginning when I next try it and hope to get it right.

                    • my Mk 1 jobs today...

fitted the new extractors, after cutting off old exhaust and disconnecting drivers-side CV @ g'box..all went smoothly thanks to Matt Loon providing a few extra studs and nuts.

ohh and picked up a set of Mk 1 lowered springs from Pete Jones (thanks Pete) but despite rushing about most of the day the f**wit at a tyre place in Burnley St. Richmond, decided "he didn't have time to remove my old springs" despite having them for 2 days !!! thank the lord for Frank @ J&F Motors who will swap them for me in the morning..getting closer to the big fire-up.....
