  • Fixed a vacuum connection to the MFD.

I was allegedly getting 20/30 litres to the 100, now it is showing about 12, which is not too far off I would argue.

Waiting on new dash cluster globes and a heater slider from OS and I will have the dash back together.

    • Got inlet manifold off, took out the injector holders and used the 5c trick, manifold back on. few niggle bits. got it to stage that it turns over by key now, sounds fresh, compression seems higher then last 1.8L, start turns over slightly slower. (full charged brand new battery btw)

Oooo so excited, been over 7 weeks since ive drove it

                  • Banged in another set of front wheel bearings last night & fitted a new set of complete tie rods incl. an LH adjustable one.

                    Wheel alignment done today.

Eye balled the wheel alignement in the driveway last night & when checked today, the toe was spot on & the RH camber was only 30 minutes out. LH camber was spot one.

Now set up at -1 camber & a tiny bit of tow out. As when the turbo & power comes on the front wheels pull forward a fair bit, even if they are spinning at 60+km/h!

                              • Fixed a fuel line failure on the top of the fuel tank (return line) which I may add is a dog without the access to a hoist.

Got in the post heater slider and new dash bulbs, so the dash should be back together tomorrow with the heater being able to be turned on AND off...
