Just bought a 06 TDI as my first car..(103kw. not GT) and this is great thread! can learn alot here.
    keep up the good work!
are the steering wheels hard to wire up or anything? the owner i bought of scratchs and picks the steering wheel (female.) and all these little dints on the vw badge on the steering wheel from here tapping with nails... haha so i want to replace with GTI or R32 wheel.
    With the exhaust... nicer note?

Sorry buddy, I've been a bit slack with the updates but to be honest I haven't done much more to it apart from the addition of an RNS510.

Long time no speak Poyta, how is the TDI going? Your TDI was inspiration to many TDI owners including me when I owned one.

Guys, that time has come when I think I'll be parting ways with my GT. Since I have a big 4x4 now as the family car and I cycle to work all the time she's just not getting used. I'd be lucky to put 5000kms on her in a year now.
Not advertising it yet but if anyone knows anyone who would be interested in buying her let me know. Anyone who has read this thread would know that she's been pampered all her life and only the best quality parts have gone on her. At the moment she's only got 60,000kms so she's pretty much only just run in and of course she's in perfect condition.

Are we allowed to advertise cars here on this forum or make links to carsales ads?

Yeah it's allowed, in the cars for sale section. If you want to start parting out parts give me a yell.

It's a shame but all good things must come to an end. Buy a mk7 golf GTD?

I'm back!!! Some unfortunate circumstances occurred recently which highlighted the importance of having a second car so I have had to back out of the sale of my GT. My apologies to the forum member who was all lined up and ready to buy the car - I appreciate your understanding.

So....now that I have decided to keep the car a bit longer its time to continue spending money on her - starting with these bad boys!!!

They look the goods! Do they bolt straight up with no modifications?

Should be direct bolt-on. The only thing with these brakes you must have a minimum of 18" rim.

Thanks for that. I've got 18's so no problem there.
