Yeah, it is a great tune, do a few hundreds km to let it adapt a bit more, you will feel it more alive!

Just got the GIAC 1 today...and wow the car drives totally different...
Sounds cliche but the power distribution and gear ratio is so much nicer!!!!

Yes i agree - i recently installed the HPA one and it's driving me insane. Too much vibration when taking off from a standstill (manual car here) and also when at low rpm (like going around a tight corner at 10kph in 2nd gear). I'll be going back to the stock rubber mount with a poly insert.

Have you guys tried it with other mounts to see whether it helps a bit?

I have the VWR "Fast road" dogbone mount on my MK5 Gti with a full 3" exhaust and there is no vibration at all just much better power down. I had the same dogbone on my R32, no vibration and then I put the the other 2 mounts in and then there was some extra vibration but the car felt like a go-kart there is so much slop in the engine bay. But you get what pay for, the vwr mounts are not cheap like the hpa one.

This is what I can read from other US forums.

HPA gives you only the lower portion and the outer rim is not machined like the VWR subframe mount. The VWR mount gives you twice the mount (top & bottom) and with the rim being machined it's a perfect fit. So both design and materials.

Yep will do. Feeling a bit anxious, its a big job! I am upgrading the clutch packs at the same time.
