hi there just bought a T4 Dual Cab and looking for wheels and tyres to go with it. The previous owner fitted 19 inch mags to it and it looks great but is not legal. I am after something that is around 17 inch and load rated. Any hints? Even thought about steel wheels with moon caps on them. All answers gratefully accepted

Greg
there is often some 17" steelies off a T4/transporter floating around ebay, not sure if all the vw commercial range have the same stud pattern / specs though...?
Just thought I would post the size/specs of wheels fitted to my R36 (5x112).
Standard are: 18x8, 44 offset, 235/40/18.
Recently fitted: 20x8.5, 42 offset, 245/30/20.
Fills the guards nicely with no rub, even with 3 people in the back. Would not go less than 40 offset though if you 8.5inch as feel the tyre would then rub on the outer guard.
What is the offset for 06' polo gti? What are the biggest u can put in without it rubbing?? With stock suspension.
there isnt an offset as such for a car... would be a standard range (et35-43 for example). but you'd be best to refer to the standard wheels on your car. also need to check the width as width and offset means nothing without the other.
biggest id imagine you could get some 19s or 20s, but as any of the polo guys will tell you that'd just be stupid. it all comes down to tyre size. id imagine 16-17 is idea, with some 18s workable.
HELP! I have a MY2011 Golf Comfortline fitted with the standard 16" Cleveland alloy wheels and space saver spare. I have obtained a Cleveland alloy wheel to use as the spare wheel with the following markings:
6.5J x 16H2ET50
AISI7Mg
1K0601025AJ
!331
Another stamp says that it is made RONAL made in Mexico with a date stamp 29.05.06 and something that looks like 9.0 II : II
What do the above codes mean? Will this wheel fit my 2011MY Golf Comfortline? What other VW models will it fit?
Thanks for your help.
